First Grade Homework
Please refer to the weekly newsletter or SeeSaw to learn your scholars homework for the week. Below are some ideas for practicing our weekly sight words:
Ideas to Practice Spelling Words:
1. Write each word 5 times each.
2. Write each word in a sentence.
3. Write each word using a red crayon for the vowels and a blue crayon for the consonants.
4. Write all of your words in a story and circle the sight words.
5. Create your words by gluing letters from a magazine or newspaper.
6. Draw a picture to show what your word means and write the word below it.
7. Use noodles or rice to spell your words.
8. Spell the words out loud while doing jumping jacks.
